Edison International is committed to complying with environmental regulations wherever we operate, throughout the world. Yet we also believe we serve a role in helping our customers improve the efficiency of their own electricity use, and in implementing demand-side management strategies.

Much of this work happens through Southern California Edison, Edison International's electric utility which serves a population of more than 13 million. SCE has several energy efficiency programs where you can learn to use your energy resourcefully, no matter where you may be in the world.

Zero Emission Products

To live more energy efficiently, you might also want to consider purchasing an electric vehicle or a battery-powered lawnmower. Edison International is committed to supporting the introduction of electro-drive technologies, ranging from electric light rail, to battery-powered airport ground equipment and industrial forklifts. These zero-emission applications help improve local air and water quality, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. As an industry leader, SCE currently operates a fleet of more than 300 battery-powered electric vehicles (EVs), the largest fleet of pure EVs in the United States.
