- General Rate Case
- A filing the CPUC requires SCE and other investor-owned utilities to make periodically for authorization to recover current and future costs to operate and serve customers. The GRC excludes costs for fuel and purchased power, which are recovered separately.
- Generation
- Producing electricity at power plants.
- GFI
- Ground Fault Interrupter -Senses when an appliance on an electrical circuit becomes grounded. The GFI initiates the opening of a circuit breaker to de-energize the circuit.
