- Office of Ratepayer Advocates (ORA)
- The Office of Ratepayer Advocates is an independent arm of the CPUC that represents consumers in commission proceedings, pursuant to statute.
- Oil Circuit Breaker (O.C.B.)
- A device that opens an alternating current circuit in a tank of oil which extinguishes the arc. It is also called an oil switch.
- Operating Reserves
- Operating reserves are the amount of electricity generation that is available in excess of current demand.
- Operating Reserves

- Overload Relay
