- Watt
- A unit of measurement of true power.
- Watt-hour
- A unit of energy measurement, equal to one watt of power used for one hour.
- Watt-hour Meter
- An instrument that records the power used in watt-hours.
- Weatherhead
- The point of entrance to service conduit from service drop. A device to keep water from entering service conduit.
- Wind Energy
- Refers to the kinetic (in motion) energy of the wind which can turn a wind turbine and this generates electricity.
- WYE System
- A method of connecting three single transformers for three-phase application.
